IDRS is committed to ensuring equality of access to justice by addressing barriers to inclusion and full participation for people with cognitive impairment involved in the criminal justice system.
The Voices of IDRS project provides a platform for people with cognitive impairment to share their own experiences of the criminal justice system in NSW.
These stories are sometimes confronting and may cause sadness or distress, or trigger traumatic memories for people, particularly survivors of past abuse, violence or childhood trauma.
